Job Description – Game Master / Actor

Position type: Part-time / Full-time (based on availability)

Key Responsibilities

Welcome players in a professional and immersive manner upon arrival. Present game rules, narrative context, and safety instructions. Monitor team progress throughout the game experience. Provide hints and assistance at the appropriate moments, based on player needs. Portray a role or character to enhance immersion (depending on the scenario). Ensure rules are followed and participants behave appropriately. Reset and prepare game rooms between groups. Deliver outstanding customer service before, during, and after the activity. Help maintain a positive, engaging, and professional atmosphere.

Requirements and Skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong interest in immersive games, puzzles, and problem-solving. Background in theatre, improvisation, or animation (required). Ability to embody a role and interact with a wide variety of guests. Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment. Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude. Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in escape rooms or immersive entertainment (an asset, but not required).
